Versatile test platform for advanced

PEM fuel cells (low or high temperature)
Our systems are optimized for operating PEM fuel cells in different temperature classes:
Low temp. (up to approx. 95°C)
Ideal for automotive and portable systems
High temp. (up to 180°C)
For stationary applications with higher heat recovery
- Precise current/voltage control (e.g. cyclic loading, ramps, pulse operation)
- Control of media such as air, hydrogen and cooling circuit

DMFC (Direct methanol fuel cells)
For specific applications, such as portable energy sources, our DMFC test systems offer:
- Methanol mixing system with safety monitoring
- Liquid and gas management for cathode and anode sides
- Online measurement of CO₂ development and cell voltage
- Possibility for parallel testing of multiple cells under identical conditions
Single Cell
Our test stands for single cells are ideally suited for:
- Material development (membranes, catalysts, gas diffusion layers)
- Parameter variation with constant cell format
- I/V characteristic lines, EIS (impedance spectroscopy) & dynamic load tests
- Temperature, pressure and humidity control with high precision

Short-Stack
Our stack test systems are designed to test cell stacks under real load conditions
- Power ranges from 100 W to 20 kW scalable
- Automatic test sequences with ramps, cyclic operation and start-stop profiles
- Continuous monitoring of all individual cell voltages (Cell Voltage Monitoring)
- Temperature and pressure control for each media module
- Full integration into higher-level process control systems or test centers
